विरुद्धान्न आणि आयुर्वेद
दोन आहारघटकांना एकत्र केल्यास, त्यांचा संयोग जर पचनानंतर शरीरास अहितकारक ठरत असेल तर त्या आहारसंयोगास विरुद्धान्न असे म्हणतात. तर या भागात,विरुद्धान्न कोणते? त्याने शरीरास काय अपाय होतो? याचे सविस्तर वर्णन बघुयात.
आजकाल न्याहारीच्या (Breakfast) वेळी दुधासोबत किंवा चहासोबत फरसाण, खारी, बिस्किटे, ब्रेड, पाव, इ. पदार्थ सर्रास खाल्ले जातात. दुध हे मधुर रसाचे आहे व वरील जवळजवळ सर्व पदार्थांमध्ये मीठ असतं. आयुर्वेदानुसार दुध व मीठ एकत्र खाऊ नये कारण ते विरुद्ध अन्न आहे. अशावेळी दूध जे शरीरासाठी अतिशय हितकारक पदार्थ आहे, मीठासोबत संयोग केल्याने शरीरास उपयोगी न होता अपायकारक होतो. असा महत्वाचा आहारघटक इतर पदार्थांशी मिश्रण करताना काळजी घेणे जरुरीचे आहे व हीच संकल्पना विरुद्ध-अन्नात सांगितली आहे.

ऋतुचर्या - ओळख
लहानपणी दिवाळीला पहाटे अभ्यंगस्नान करायला आई उठवायला यायची तेव्हा जाम राग यायचा. एवढ्या थंडीमध्ये उठून अंगाला तेल, उटणे लावून घासून रगडून आंघोळ का करायची हा प्रश्न पडायचा. आपल्या पुर्वजांनी हे असले उद्योग का लावून ठेवले असा विचार येऊन खूप वैताग व्हायचा. पण पुर्वजांनी सांगितलंय तर त्यामागे काही काही ना कारण असेलच असं सांगून आई मोकळी व्हायची पण प्रश्न मात्र अनुत्तरीतच राही.
