ऋतुचर्या - ओळख

लहानपणी दिवाळीला पहाटे अभ्यंगस्नान करायला आई उठवायला यायची तेव्हा जाम राग यायचा. एवढ्या थंडीमध्ये उठून अंगाला तेल, उटणे लावून घासून रगडून आंघोळ का करायची हा प्रश्न पडायचा. आपल्या पुर्वजांनी हे असले उद्योग का लावून ठेवले असा विचार येऊन खूप वैताग व्हायचा. पण पुर्वजांनी सांगितलंय तर त्यामागे काही काही ना कारण असेलच असं सांगून आई मोकळी व्हायची पण प्रश्न मात्र अनुत्तरीतच राही.
अशा एक ना अनेक चालीरीती व त्या लावून ठेवण्यामागील वैज्ञानिक कारणे या सर्वांचं विवेचन आयुर्वेदाने केलेलं आहे. वेगवेगळ्या ऋतूंमध्ये ठराविक आहारविहाराचे  वेगवेगळे नियम व त्यामागील या विचारांबद्दल अधिक जाणून घेऊयात.

Our forefathers knew the importance of menstruation & its impact on female's body so they have proposed a particular regimen to follow during menstruation, which is called as Rajaswala Paricharya.

Early menarche and menopause, dysmenorrhea (pain during menstruation), irregular menstrual cycles, mennorrhagia (excessive bleeding), and above all is increasing trend in patients with PCOD. These complaints & many others are affecting women and disturbing their well-being.

Our forefathers had recommended some specific rules or regimen for women while menstruating. Ayurveda calls it “Rajaswala Paricharya”. They have given the brief description of science behind it and how it influences overall health of women.
